Class 4 MOT
The MOT test class covering cars, light goods vehicles up to 3,000kg DGW, and most motor caravans — the test the majority of UK owners take.
Class 4 includes passenger vehicles with up to eight seats. Class 7 covers goods vehicles between 3,000kg and 3,500kg design gross weight and uses the same inspection sections with weight-related differences in brake testing.
