Where the products genuinely differ
Vehicle-history services combine vehicle, MOT and paid-history data through their own integrations. Coverage varies by record type, provider and vehicle.
Our reports are written as a narrative rather than a raw data dump, and every result carries the coverage state that produced it: checked and clear, checked with a marker, or not returned by the source. A field we could not verify is labelled as unverified rather than shown as clear. Platinum also includes a photographic panel scan that reads uploaded images and describes what it found in plain English, with indicative repair bands where a finding is listed. That is a different product line to a records-only check.
